Beautiful Female Blue Pastel. Just weaned. Great pet or quality breeder, $300.(Sale pending!)
Blue Pastels belong to a less common mutation. It is the equivalent of the Blue Dilute (American White). It is actually the European version of the American White. Colors are more toned in the blue. Males have a blue rump and marbled blue/white on wings. Females are of a white/blue body with darker shades of blue/gray on the flight feathers. Check the “Picture Gallery” for more pictures of this mutation. Very beautiful and unique!
Yellow pastels are the European version of the American Yellow, yet very different. They have a light yellow body with shadows of lime green. Males have marbled yellow/lime green wings with purple/blue on rump and flight wings. Females are a cute yellow “butter cup” with bluish/gray on flight wings and light purple on rump. The “Yellow Pastels” come in different tones of Yellow. Some are very lime green with blue accents. I think they should be called “Green Pastels”. They are very beautiful and rare!
Young breeding pairs of Green split to Lutino male + Blue split to Lutino female. Will produce greens, lutinos and Albinos. $450 for the pair!
